pirates and captain jack sparrow

last friday night, i got the night to myself. my hubbyby was not at home, and my children slept early. and again, i got to watch pirates of the carribean - the curse of the black pearl. but this time, i was able to watch it undisturbed. enjoyed it as always.

what is so great about pirates of the carribean? ehmm... its entertaining and funny. and we have johnny depp as captain jack sparrow and orlando bloom as will turner. both are handsome guys and brilliant actors. and the sweet keira knightley as elizabeth swan.

i'm a fan of johnny depp since his appearance in 21 jump street in the eighties. tapi bila tengok balik cerita tu and the pictures from that series rasa kelakar sgt2. buruknya fashion n style zaman 80'an - remorse jambul kat depan and seluar ketat kaki kecik.

zaman dulu2, kita minat johnny depp sebab dia handsome, cute face. but now, not anymore. now i get to admire people when they have outstanding character. depp has matured with experience. dari zaman edward scissorhands till the pirates, and sweeny todd, i think he had been a brilliant actor. and his character as captain jack sparrow is what i like most - a smart pirate and a little crazy. depp also admitted that he loves that character and would agree to play it again if called for the 4th sequel of the pirates. why? being a pirate is part of any children's dream, and you know you wouldn't be one. so, when you got to act it out, its fun, it's like your dreams come true. and you were given the freedom to shape the character to your liking depending on the script. i just love creative people, they make life interesting and lively!
out of the silver screen, depp also has transformed into a responsible hubby and father. his marriage to his current wife and his children has changed his life. the first child was the turning point. he is now more focused in life, and knows what he wants. he loves and enjoys his acting career which he described as "we actors are essentially telling lies for a living" - which is true, exactly.

i haven't seen much of orlando bloom. he is still young and handsome too. his role in pirates biasa2 je. but both depp and bloom had sexy hairdo, don't you think so? mat salleh ni kalau rambut panjang nampak macho je, tapi kalau org kita rambut panjang... tak menarik pulak.

eh... macam serupa pulak depp n bloom in the above pictures. look at their eyes... wow! deep seated eyes are sexy-looking tapi susah nak buat cataract op! dahlah sharp nose... need to do temporal approach kalau nak op.


but depp doesnt look as good without his misai n janggut. but he looks clean without it. it reminds me of a friend who kept telling us that men with misai cannot be trusted, macam dato' k, siti nurhaliza tu. hehe... nak tergelak juga coz my hubby ada misai and tak pernah tak de misai since we got married. bila tengok gambar dia tak de misai rasa kelakar... tak macho langsung!

seronok tgk movies ni because kita boleh ikut sama n rasa macam hidup dalam movie to. nasib baiklah kt ni tak de tgv or gsc, kalau tidak banyak juga godaannya... tak pelah... tgk dvd pun bolehlah walaupun sound systemnya wouldn't be as good.
